Home » About Me

Have you ever felt like you were destined for more, but you were too scared or stuck to go after it? Maybe you tolerated being used and abused and even convinced yourself that you deserved it? If so, then you’d have something in common with pre-2019 me.

My whole life, I’d kept myself small, afraid to be too loud or too needy or too much.

I believed love was earned through usefulness and perfection. This mentality led to a world of misery, a sense of powerlessness and a suffocating ‘not enough’ mindset.  Between people pleasing, overthinking and self-limiting beliefs, my lack of boundaries resulted in some serious issues. I was constantly getting hurt or taken advantage of, and then thanking my abusers for the privilege.

But then, in 2018, I finally broke. One too many straws and I ended up with PTSD, daily panic attacks, haunting nightmares and seriously dark thoughts. I withdrew from everyone and everything and I cried more often than not. For months, I struggled to get out of bed and I kept reliving my physical, mental and sexual assaults again and again in my mind, each time feeling as if it were happening in real time.

My last hope was therapy and I decided if I was going to do it, I was going to go all in.

And so all at once, I got into talk therapy, hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EFT and EMDR. The combination was very effective for me and set me on a path of healing and empowerment. And then the real turning point… My husband and I found out that we were expecting a baby girl and it kicked my journey into hyper-drive. There was no way in hell I was going to let my trauma prevent me from being an amazing and present mom. I knew that I had to do everything I could to heal for me as well as for my family.

My daughter was a breath of fresh air and helped bring me back to life.

Between being her mother and all of my hard work on myself, I became a woman that I did not recognize. This new version of me was powerful and strong and confident not only in my body but in my worth and abilities. Life was exciting again! Over the years, I’ve had my setback moments and hard days, but I’ve learned different ways, tips and tools in order to get myself through it and back on track. I learned how to establish boundaries, to make myself a priority in my own life, and to go after my dreams. This resulted in having another amazing child, a deeper relationship with my husband, a new home, and of course, my business.

All of this healing and empowerment awakened a higher calling in me that I couldn’t ignore.

I realized that I had a mission to help other women who may have been feeling the way that I used to feel. To channel my own experiences and lessons learned and help others to take control of their own power. The idea that I could make something so amazing come out of the horrible things I’d been through was compelling and I couldn’t say no. And so I took on the purpose of helping women to empower themselves to unleash their inner strength, embrace who they are and break free from self-imposed limitations. Not only do I guide them in recognizing their worth and pursing their dreams, but I help them to rewire their brains to unleash their hidden potential.

I’m able to do this confidently.

Not only because of my own life experiences, but also because of the learning I’ve done along the way. I am now proudly certified as a life coach, an empowerment coach, a people pleasing coach and an energy and boundaries protection practitioner. I have also completed certifications in hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, trained in neurolinguistic programming, and I completed a coaching program to work specifically with moms who want to feel less stressed and less burnt out. And the learning never stops- I’m always finding more techniques or programs that interest me and passing those lessons onto my clients, subscribers and group members.

Hearing from clients about how my services or resources have made a difference for them always lights me up in a way I never thought possible. It gives me so much hope about the future of the world and I love knowing that I’m having an impact on the lives of women who want more out of life.

Because of this, along with being able to set a healthy example for my children, I am able to promise my clients results as long as they’re willing to put in the work.

The path isn’t always easy, but I know first-hand that the destination is worth it.
